Hi, I’m Dami Ladele, a cybersecurity professional with a passion for safeguarding digital landscapes.

From designing email automation systems to leading cybersecurity initiatives, I’ve carved a dynamic journey bridging technical expertise with a passion for safeguarding digital landscapes. My career began in email marketing, where I mastered compliance frameworks like GDPR and CASL, ensuring businesses could communicate securely and efficiently.

Over time, I honed my technical skills by implementing email authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to combat spoofing and phishing, while leveraging analytics to monitor deliverability and detect anomalies. This foundation led to a deeper curiosity for security, ultimately driving my pivot into cybersecurity and cloud security.

I’ve since gained hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, incident response, and cloud infrastructure security, working with tools like AWS, Wireshark, Nmap, Splunk, and Snort.

I’m a proud holder of certifications such as the CCSK and Security+, and I’ve also contributed to impactful projects, like creating cybersecurity awareness guides and investigating data breaches.

Recently, I’ve been diving deeper into the intricacies of security operation centers (SOCs), enhancing my skills in monitoring, threat detection, and response.

When I’m not in the weeds of threat analysis, you can find me training for long-distance running events (I’ve competed in a backyard ultra marathon) or occasionally teaching swing dance or DJ’ing at my local dance group or engaging in my community through volunteer work.
